The Hospice Gantois was founded in 1462 by Jean de la Cambe (nicknamed Gantois). Up till 1995 without interruption it continues to welcome old sick people.In September 2003, the Hospice Gantois became Hotel Hermitage Gantois 5***** offering rooms, a Spa with a swimming pool, a Gastronomic Restaurant

The Chapel built in 1666, knowing that at that period the hospitals mostly cured the soul rather than the sick bodies. The presence of relics and an altar signifies that the people assisting in certain religious ceremonies were allow 40 days of indulgence, which explain the importance of this chapel compared to the size of the Hospice, in fact, it was a place of pilgrimage and popular devotion because there were found the relics of saint John Baptist leftover of the collegial of saint Pierre (destroyed during the revolution): all these got disappeared during the bombardment of Lille in 1914. This chapel was a private hospital chapel for the residents. The religious were having a private chapel called (oratories) situated on the top floor beside the Augustinian sector from where they follow the fellowship. The chapel was in full activity till

La salle des Malades (salle des Hospices) a gothic gable of 15th century, surrounded by blocks of 17th century houses, lined with old Lille decorative tiles of 18th century, which you will also find in the little cupboards. Ten niches flamboyant style, sculpted in blue stone, carrying Burgundy arms: Lighter and Saint Andrew’s cross. Only the Apostles and the Saints names remain. Two niches were disappeared during the construction of the chapel. Vestiges of a wall fresco show the transfer of relics of Saint Piat of Seclin to Gantois in 1479. The large stained glass over the main entrance door was made during the transformation to hotel.

In the program : tea shops, ready-made clothes shops “chic and organic”,  Golden age facades, handcrafts creations ...

It is the pleasure to let you discover this wonderful district, its nice addresses and its talents in an original and ludic way.


2. Walking guided tour  “St Germain-des-Prés around the gastronomy”

Saint-Germain-des-Prés and its mythical cafés, stories, cult places, magnificent Palace and its unusual buildings: houses with pulleys, house wells, charming courtyards… Here is what we propose you to discover by making some enjoyable stops in shops, all about gastronomy and where the craftsmanship and the particularities are told by your guide or the shop manager himself. 


3. Guided tour in Montmartre

Accompanied by your guide, discover the place where some of the great French and international artists have lived. Enjoy the small  flowered alleys and some unknown places where the authenticity is still untouched. Don’t miss the basilica of Sacré-Coeur situated on the top of the mound where you could admire an overview of Paris. The painters from the Tertre place or the shopping district of the Abbesses.


4. Show at the Cabaret “Le Lapin Agile"

Today, true national conservatoire of the french music, this cabaret exist till 1860. Discover the atmosphere of the old Montmartre throughout a show with artists like poets, comedians, composing authors, instrumentalists, virtuosos, humorists or singers. Admire one of the famous artists meeting place of the beginning of the 20th century : Pablo Picasso, Max Jacob, Roland Dorgelès, Francis Carco, Blaise Cendrars or Pierre Mac Orlan.


5. Lunch cruise on the Seine

Start the cruise from the Tower Eiffel to discover from the Seine : the National Assembly, the fashion city, the Concorde Place or the Statue of Liberty. Enjoy those two hours of ride to observe the splendour of the banks and the Parisian monuments. The large windows offers you an exceptional view of Paris. Add to this great moment an elegant lunch from the french gastronomy accompanied with its friendly atmosphere with artists who punctuate the cruise with the sounds of french melodies.


6. Orsay Museum guided tour

The Orsay museum is known from all around the world for its rich collection of impressionist art. Throughout a guided tour, explore this old train station with the look of a Palace and admire the different paintings, architectures, sculptures, decorative arts and photographies. You’ll find some famous artists, such as : Claude Monet, Édouard Manet, Auguste Renoir, Camille Claudel, Paul Gauguin or Alfred Sisley.


7. Lunch and dinner in a typical Parisian brasserie

Have lunch and dinner in the atmosphere of the Parisian brasseries. To the menu, a traditional and qualitative french cuisine that propose some typical dishes, such as : onion soup, blanquette or pot-au-feu. Have a pleasant moment between character and tradition, in a brasserie that was in its first use a manufacturing beer place

1.      Bruges’ guided walking tour

Bruges, medieval and mysterious, is a miracle. The city forgotten by the North sea at the end of the 15th century has not changed since the Dukes of Burgundy.  Untouched in its walls since the time of the drapers, goldsmiths and spices merchants. Let yourself be carried away over the lost time throughout the canals and the twisted alleys.  Here the jewels are commensurate as the jewel case. You could discover the city’s history, from the “Grand Place” and its beautiful facades, the beguinage to the church Notre Dame ...


2.      Boat ride on the canals

An half an hour historical ride on boat on the canals of Bruges, where you will discover the most important monuments in another way. Lots of examples, like the beguinage, the old Saint-Jean Hospital, the church Notre Dame, the belfry, the Poorters Loge … And on the top of that : the medieval aspect of Bruges and the numerous step-gabled houses.
